Jerry Caspell

Writing poetry seemed to come naturally for me since I was a teenager. It has been a very personal and private expression of my deepest feelings and emotions. As I have continued to write over the years, combining my poems with music has become another deep form of self-expression, lyrics to songs I’ve created accompanying myself on guitar.

I would characterize my poetry and music as a means of journaling my life-experience. There is such a powerful and rewarding sense of self-awareness in being able to express joy and love as well as healing during times of sorrow and sadness. Most importantly, this is a universal language that has given me a deeper spiritual connection in my relationship with God and others in my sphere of influence.

Joy is indeed like an Elusive Butterfly, and Love must be an Endless Pursuit for us all.
